Yep, although i honestly haven't looked into it that much. From my routine compilation folder it looks like you lift three times a week, with one main lift done each day in reverse pyramidal fashion, followed by accessory work. Is that the routine you're doing? I suppose how good that works out partly depends on the choice of accessory work.

Edit: I legit failed to read your earlier post about your 5x5 strength training. Whoops.
Back pain I already have on office heavy days, so this is something I'm working with atm. I am currently leaning very heavily towards going for muscle now, lets say, try to put on muscle to 85.  I'm focusing and big strongman type of excersies in a 5x5 program that I had my first day of previous wednesday. I have to say though I am obsessing about calory intake now and I feel this could hamper my muscle gain progress cause I am very worried about putting on fat that I fought so hard to lose.

I'm working on escaping from concentration-camp mode, so I can't really give you a ton of advice. Your lifts will suffer if you eat at a deficit, but if you eat roughly around maintenance and get enough protein you should achieve some sort of body recompisitioning and still be able to lift heavy. Good luck out there.

In ancient times, men built wonders, laid claim to the stars, and sought to better themselves for the good of all.
But we are much wiser now.

1. You will get much stronger. You will be able to see the progress on your lifts, and that is very important for motivation.

you seem to be implying that endurance training won't give any visible benefit. But just like strength means you can lift more, endurance means you can run more ( or swim, bike, walk, whatever), and benefits are visible rather quickly, especially if you aren't used to that kind of exercise.

that aside, other points were fair.
At the end, a large part of it is personal attitudes and preferences.
