I think I'd go with insanity, she's likely to be far from the only dorf to be a paranoid reclusive in a sanitarium. You can always revive the plotline with a second dwarf, maybe that one can take metal.

On the other hand, a second reclusive dwarf that likes metal bars could escape into the caverns and have an unfortunate accident.

On the third hand, a commanding voice in her head could be enough to force her to go steal some metal. Possibly running into a security guard and having Fun.

If there was way to keep her from starving to death after she turned insane... I'll look for it in dfhack scripts!

Sometimes I feel like my screenname was a bad idea. It's too confusing.

A doubly insane vampire hiding in the caverns? Perfect!

dwarf1: "steve? that's a HUMAN name. "
dwarf2: "no, no, it's not even that good, it's an ELFY name, (series of insults)
me: but, but, i AM a human!
dwarf1: yeah right, urist mcCrazy.
me: urist? what kinda name is that
dwarf 2: a generic dwarf name.
me: what about urist mcSteve?
dwarf 1: perfect.
dwarf 2: still disgusting.
me: i'm still a human! i was fighting this dragon, i stepped into a portal and...
dwarf 3: hey, crazy guy, you're perfect for the asylum I keep hearing about!
me: *ulp*.(and i can't get my alchemy bags to open...)
social idiot, mechanical genius. bonus if you find a dwarf who likes black or red, for the darkmatter/redmatter of tekkit.

The voice in her head hasn't shut up for months. Deprislava could not do anything but listen it and shout it's words:
- METALMETALMETAL!!!! NEEEEEEEEED!!!! METALMETALMETAL!!!! NEEEEED!!!!!
Slowly those words turned into unrecognizable rage cry! ENOUGH OF THAT!!!!

Cat hin behind the stones, nearly scared to death. But that wasn't long, she quickly killed it with a mighty swing of her pick.

A trapper of newcomers stated that hes name actually is Urist McSteve

And also, Nix and Bobnova have a new baby. Not sure what should we do with that.

Nice match for the character!  I daresay it's a better match than I would've gotten if I'd tried to edit one by hand! (Well, I could've gotten the likes and dislikes to be a better match, but only by focusing on the classic gems like diamonds and rubies.)
honesty, poor spacial sense...hm....well, yes, "can't keep mouth shut" and "thinks his body is a lot taller than it is" would go very, very nicely with the character.
disorganized? nice!

Seriously.  I should go and post a screenshot of my "houses" in minecraft when i get home.  :D

This is a fun fort! I hope you get back to it. If and when you do, I would like a patient.

Please give me a male dwarf, and give him a profession of "Mayor-Apparent".

He would be a deposed Mayor of a different settlement, with an extreme compulsion to organize everything. Everything goes into bins, and bins go into stockpiles. Stockpiles need to have the right location, labour assignment, precise number of wheelbarrows and be frequently restocked. And so on, you get the idea.
