gypsum plaster powder
« on: February 01, 2013, 03:48:08 am »

What sort of stockpile in what configuration do I need if I want to stockpile ONLY this (gypsum plaster powder). I've tried several variations of furniture and finished goods storing only gypsum plaster powder (or whatever its proper name is), with and without bins and barrels and it never gets brought to the stock pile. Im at a bit of a loss >.>

edit: this is to go in my hospital wing...

This is an exceptional obsidian statue of Daral Darkscab.
The item is an exceptionally designed image of Daral Darkscab the dwarf and a slag bar (massive) in obsidian by Ksoth Lolorumril. Daral Darkscab is raising the slag bar (massive). The artwork relates to the masterful slag bar (massive) created by the dwarf Daral Darkscab for the Corridor of Matyrs at Monstergores in the late spring of 312.

I'm so glad my masons have chosen to memorialize the really important events.

If the powder is already in another stockpile you need to either disable it altogeather on that pile or order your dwarves to give form that pile to the destination pile.   Additionaly dwarves can be a bit persnickity when it comes to moveing items from a pile with bins to one without, they just dont like doing it.

More practically as far as I'm aware there is nothing you can do with plaster casts that you cant do just as well with simple splints.   I'd just give the hospital a pile of splints and be down with it.

There is no setting that separates gypsum powder.

There's a workaround though.
