Zombie Apocolypse Mode: Necromancers & Volcanoes

I'm making a *fun* new world:

(The red "crowns" are volcanoes, the "I" each represent a tower...)
Anyone else wanna embark here?
I'll post the parameters too if there's interest, but this has taken hours (with 300 civs and 1999 years, that's what I would expect) to make in world gen.

Also, please post any extreme worlds you've made, more fun is always... fun.

I'm surprised it's still only at Legends age. Heck, I'm surprised there are even any civs still left alive, much less megabeasts and titans. Strangely enough my current fort has a volcano and captured necromancers. It's nice when sentient corpses become an actual resource (bigger undead horde).

Nice lol. I'd like to give this world a whirl. I've been dabbling in trying to generate thematic worlds lately, I.E. ice planets, etc. Params would be much appreciated

I've never read flatland... Now I want to. Actually, I named it flatland because I changed the elevation parameters in the advanced world gen and wanted the map to be flatter... that didn't really happen. However, I think that has made the world "thinner," on the two embarks I've done so far, the caverns and "ocean" below have been pretty close to the surface. One started on level 0, had caverns starting at -10, and the map wouldn't go deeper after -40.. although I never dug that deep.

Also, my strategy against necromancer sieges: the only way into my fortress is by crossing a dozen 1-tile wide catwalks, covered in traps, suspended over a volcano. The reason this works: dodging...

Also someone should do the Journey to the Center of the Earth Challenge :D

Or the flatland challenge:
Turn your dwarf society into a social commentary and satire about the Victorian era. All Nobles must live above ground.
Dwarfy bonus: only use the z-level you start on.
Megadwarf Bonus: Let the peasants get killed in Necro sieges.
SUPERMEGADWARF Bonus: Your fortress consists of pentagons.
Mod bonus: Make dwarf fortress use hexagons instead of squares.
Mega Mod bonus: Did I say hexagons? I meant pentagons...
