Make a large area underground they must pass through woth the ceiling held up by one support  when he runs in pull the lever
The goal here is to keep him alive in order to maintain mount capabilities, not kill him. And I would suggest that you check out this thread for potential ways to catch a demon (the webbed demon portion is what you want to look at). Alternatively if the demon general is not a webbing demon you can catch also him with a webbed cage trap.
well i dont see a easy way unless you are a good nicromanager to set up a cave in so he becomes stuck

cave-in dust also goes through NOSTUN, KOing anything, and this neuters the effect of TRAPAVOID.
I'm fairly sure that NOSTUN really means that it won't get stunned/knocked out. Only way I know of to cage something with NOSTUN is webs (which may or may not trigger the same effect as stun). Trapping one is as easy as a drawbridge over a pit with a wooden door in the pit.

I checked the raws; it seems our demon friend is not NO_STUN, meaning he can be stunned just fine. Also, no webs. I tested a cavern breach (to find a GCS) and save-scummed because my FPS went straight to single-digits. I might be able to do it without 1 FPS but I'll need to cull some livestock or finish all my melt jobs first, probably. I think for my next attempt I'll set up that line of dodge traps mentioned upthread and see if that works.

If this actually works be sure to tell us, because I personally haven't ever seen a demon that is lacking NO_STUN.

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!

Hmmm, after seeing your post I'm suspecting I've made an error reading my world.dat. Previously when I'd looked up FB's, each FB seemed to have it's own "block" of text all in one lin (as viewed with Notepad++). I grabbed the paragraph I found this demon's description in and it didn't have a NO_STUN tag. Took another look today and there is a NO_STUN tag on the following block, which may belong to my demon... are you familiar with the format? What's the first-and-last tag for each generated demon? I'm suddenly not sure where our buddy's info ends and the next begins.
