Question on Steam's free weekend.
« on: January 25, 2013, 04:26:00 pm »

When you download a game say Friday, does that mean that the next day the game is getting removed from your Library? If so, what the heck? Poor idea.

There is also a day called 'Sunday'.

This isn't really answering my question, does it get removed or not?

What is this mystical "Sunday" of which you speak? Among my people it is known as "Monday, the prequel".

But yeah...it's usually good through midnight on Sunday. And IIRC, it doesn't get removed, it just starts making you purchase it if you want to play. On the upside, if you purchase it, it's already installed!

Yeah, having it still installed after that weekend is like pirating a game (with DRM) without also downloading the crack / CD-key.

(is what I assume is the case)
