animal questions

I have two little animal questions...

1) is there a list someplace (I searched around the wiki) of the various animals with hunts_vermin?  I know cats (and apparently peregrine falcons) but are there others?

2) Do Dwarves ever actually mount mounts in fortress mode?

1) I don't think anyone has put together a list before.  You could get that from searching the raws themselves.

OK, so i used notpad++ to search through the raws in my vanilla DF 34.11 (from lazy newb) and only cats and peregrine falcons have hunts_vermin

chickens, kiwi, hedgehog
have gobble_vermin

Yeah, dwarves can't mount animals for now. It's too damn bad because crossbowdwarves on war giant eagles = instant awesome.

Same as crossbowdwarves on giant desert scorpions. DOUBLE CROSSBOW HELL YES.

I'm assuming it means they'll eat, but not deliver to their owner, vermin.  Like a chicken pecking at the ground eating bugs.  But I doubt they'll actively go find them like the hunter tag.

All assumption though.
