I heard a clever trick here on the boards, but I don't remember who said it.

The idea is, a bedridden dwarf can still use the Animal Care skill if there are injured animals near his bed. Ideally, this is an ex-soldier recovering in your barracks, where war dogs are often found.

Has anyone confirm that this works?
