The game is young, so not much is possible now.  I have been working on "corpse processing" for a little while, and you can already hack living opponents to pieces.  I've been planning to allow you to mutilate subdued (yet living) creatures, especially since you won't be able to tell if they're dead sometimes.

What this means is that (once I finish these things), the structures will be in place for you to mutilate yourself while you are alive.  Aside from demonic/undead possession of limbs, it might also be handy to get rid of cursed objects that way.  I should also probably make it impress people at bars.
