Attack yourself in adventure mode
« on: November 25, 2007, 12:48:00 pm »

You should be able to attack yourself in adventure mode Emo dwarfs ftw.

Seriously it would be pointless but fun.

Perhaps tweak the poison system so that if the poison is injected into your right hand after a turn or so it spreads to your lower right arm to prevent being killed by the poison you can attempt to suck it out through the wound or remove your arm with a knife and bandage it.

Ooops wrong section can this be moved into suggestions please.

Dispite my initial reaction to this idea, I must admit that chopping of your poisoned arm with one mighty swipe is an absolutely Dwarfy thing to do. This sounds like a Powergoal:
The hero was kicked in the chest by a goblin, sending him down a nearby shaft. He fell several feet, but his fall was broken by soft hay; unfortunately for him, pale vipers are a favored pet of a goblin, and pale vipers prefer to nest in hay. He manged to escape the snake pit, but was bitten in the foot by one resident. finally in the light of day, he cut off his own leg to stop the venom, and started the long journey home...

Of course, the player character would then have to repeatedly pass out from pain, until the player is eventually informed that he has gone insane.
