(Tip's on spoilering would be nice.
If writing it out entirely with the keyboard, you just need to open a spoiler tab (with an optional "=Text to label the spoiler with", within it), open an image tag if you want it, put the URL of the image resource, close the image tag, put text in and then close the spoiler tag. Put any
other text within the spoiler-tagging area, but outside of the image-tagging one (before
or after).
Hierarchically, it would look like
[spoiler] (or [spoiler=Some text you want to title the spoiler with])
Pre-image free-text
[img]http://url://to.image.thing/whatever/etc/CaseSensitively.don'tforgettheextension[/img]
Post-image free-text
[/spoiler]
If you want to use the fancy buttons
1) Type "http://www.something.org/the/URL/of/the/image.png" (no quotes), highlight that, click on the "Insert Image" button. (You must already know how to do this, or else are pasting the 'example text for Bulletin Boards' from whatever place you're taking the image...)
2) Bulk it out with whatever other things you want to surround it with (text-wise, further images). Preview it to make sure it looks Ok.
3) Highlight all
that and then hit the "Insert Spoiler" button (radioactive symbol, on my interface... YMMV). to get the [spoiler] and [/spoiler] surrounds. You may wish to preview
that before continuing (to make sure it works the way you want it) and/or add the "=Spoiler explanation" text into the opening tag, as already described.
4) Do anything else you want. Including editing the internals (so long as you don't break them). You
can't 'nest' spoilers, so don't try.
Anyway, I've just been ninjaed. But I thought I'd spend some time on this off-topicness, given that (to be honest) you aren't keeping your own contributions to your own thread very topic-worthy either.
Oh, and "tips", plural==no apostrophe. And you didn't close your parenthesis, so I'll do that for you now...
