I think that's slightly above average for modern artifacts... At least you can hit someone with it...

In my first fort in about a year, I now have THREE (3) legendary leather garments for the lower half of the body - two skirts and a pair of trousers. Interestingly, the ones without gems are worth more.

I also now have three legendary leathercrafters hauling stone...

Sounds like that book would sell like hotcakes.

Yes, it seems that it's something severely lacking in society today, would be a best-seller.

Sounds like you've got a revolution stirring in your fortress-

Wall engravings are the new pamphlet...

Imagine you're driving a car. Push the gas pedal to the floor. Close your eyes. Remain this way for ten minutes while turning the wheel at whim. This is Dwarf Fortress.
I don't mean to alarm you, but it appears that your Dwarves are all in fact elephants.

Tear the wall down, tie the engraver to the empty tile and obsidianise him. Then, have the next up and comer engrave the newly formed obsidian wall with government approved messages.

Then it happened. Then I cringed. Then I picked it up and beat him to death with it, and then his buddies, too.

How the hell do you bind something in hoof?

My son, many speak of the honor in war.
My preferred method is to wait until their back is turned, then impale them with a pike held by someone else.
Preferrably from a distance.

It's a [SECRET]. They learn it the same time they learn the secrets of life and death.
