Craziest Embark ever
« on: November 17, 2012, 09:56:03 am »

I embarked today, and have just discovered that my entire civ is composed of Vampires. Is it even possible? All my original 7 are vamps and so are all the migrants. Screenies will be posted soon.

It'll be all fun and games, until the werewolf invasions start.

I like to think that on the other side of the world a human is walking on the beach, notices the water level suddenly drop twenty feet, and whispers "fucking dwarves."

"The cows seem to lose bowel control when launched... I consider this a feature."

I figure the worst case scenario is if a mortal girl who never smiles shows up. Then I need to be on the lookout for shirtless werewolves.

Are you playing something modded? Original 7 shouldn't be vampire, werewolves, or other interaction stuffs.

Nope, just straight up Vanilla.

I am in an evil embark, does that change anything?

It shouldn't, how's you finding out that they're vampires?

Evil embarks don't changes anything with dwarves, it's pretty much environmental :D

Each dwarf's status is "They have the appearance of someone X years old and are the first of their kind."

False alarm. To verify, I used DFhack's cursecheck command. 0. It probably has something to do with my year 9 worldgen.

Yep, First of their kind is on everything that's older than Year 0 of worldgen! You find it a lot on elves and goblins that manage to not die even in long gens.

It pretty much just means "Okay, poof, here they are for the start"
