Is it always better to sell the goblin, orc, gnome furniture. Or does some of it provide good benefits?

They sit in the chairs and beds sometimes, but they aren't very good.  It's better to sell them.  The rest of it (Desks, pots of gold) has no value other then to be sold.

You don't need to till the dirt, if it's grass and not snow or desert sand, just place one of the fertilization stones and plant your crops on the surface.
