im just bad with bodyparts also i have no idea how to connect tissues to bodyparts

A BDP or using a ton of [TISSUE_LAYER:selection_type:bodypart:tissue]

make sure the materials and tissues are defined in the critter.

these will give the creature standard materials and connect them to tissues

necromorph leather and tallow biscuits anyone?

but since you have two custom bodyparts

DERP/DERPY
HERP/HERPY

a [BODY_DETAIL_PLAN:VERTEBRATE_TISSUE_LAYERS:SKIN:FAT:MUSCLE:BONE:CARTILAGE] won't catch them cause this is what they cover:

also anything that seems unvanilla... ignore, this is an altered BDP from regen.

But you can simply use
[TISSUE_LAYER:BY_CATEGORY:BLADE_UPPER:BONE]
[TISSUE_LAYER:BY_CATEGORY:BLADE_UPPER:MUSCLE]
[TISSUE_LAYER:BY_CATEGORY:BLADE_UPPER:FAT]
[TISSUE_LAYER:BY_CATEGORY:BLADE_UPPER:SKIN]

[TISSUE_LAYER:BY_CATEGORY:BLADE_LOWER:BONE]

the arm is now layered with all organic materials
but the blade/sharp part is only bone.

But BONE is not sharp on it's own so you need this:

[SELECT_MATERIAL:BONE]
      [SHEAR_YIELD:155000]
      [SHEAR_FRACTURE:310000]
      [SHEAR_STRAIN_AT_YIELD:189] shear modulus 82 GPa
      [MAX_EDGE:100000]

now they should be able to shred through iron with any attack using the BONE material.

Yeah TECHNICALLY a hydra wouldn't normally die of losing a few heads, but blood loss tends to happen as a side effect, which does kill it. Sucks when your head/neck has major arteries.

-weapons to deal with necros
