Hello everyone, its been awhile since I played (I think it was 34.07). Just got burned out and waiting for the next release, then ill start again hehe.

I had a question about the next release. Does anyone know if toady is going to fix the hauling issue in the next release? The issue I'm talking about is where a dwarf would bring the container over and carry individual items and put them in the container, then carry the container back (I think that's what it was, or something similar, its been awhile as I mentioned above.) That's half the reason I am taking a break from the game. I hope I explained that correctly. I don't remember exactly, but I do remember something changed drastically to the hauling system since 34.07.

Probably not, you'll just have to deal with the new hauling changes.

At the moment, the best thing to do is just use quantum stockpiles for everything and skip bins altogether, except for crafts.

Correct, version 0.34.08.

I would recommend giving the latest version a try. I for one love the hauling changes, and you'll have to adapt anyways when the next release come out.

I've heard that keeping seed bags out of barrels helps a lot.
