When I play dwarf fortress its def ambient. Kammerheit, biosphere. boards of canada a.s.o. I think I like them more when I play or study because they dont take any space and can easily both fit a theme and compliment the gaming experience, ex: biosphere - too fragile to walk on is perfect for glaciers and tundras while northaunt - night came to us fits the evil maps where there is lurking evil.
