Whoa, that looks like 40d modding, is that the version you're using?  If not, you're using a way-old tutorial and a lot of your stuff won't work.  You want more up-to-date modding.

I also see several errors, such as a bracket being left off DIURNAL, and the top should be creature_shadow_imp with the text file named the same.

First, though, if you're modding for the most recent version, I recommend reading everything for DF2012 modding first.

It's okay, you were just using an out-of-date tutorial. :)

This page will also help you - it gives a list of every token you can use on a creature for the current version, and how to use them.  Remember, the default raws themselves also have explanations written by Toady - the DWARF creature gives some basic explanations on what tokens are doing what.

Ok, so!
When I get home, I will begin work on some more creatures. I still don't know how to make my own creatures and I could really use some help.
Other then that, I modded in Light Arrows, Light Swords, Shadow Arrows, and Shadow Scaled Armor.
I am adding tons more tonight and tommarow I will (If I get a reply) add in any creatures. For angels, I would like a creature the size of a human child, the tile HAS to be a * or something relative to it, and the description "Small childish creatures that can be extremly dangerous if provoked". I would like it to be intelligent, open doors and ya' know, the things normal humans do.

EDIT: It has to (If possible) throw "Light Crystals" which either A: Purge the target into thin air Or B: Burn the target, with fire. The cooldown has to be 100 ticks and target 2 people. Yes, I want them to kick butt if you provoke them.
