Well, neither my trap or his has been touched, and I haven't seen fast little blurs out of the corner of my eye for a few days, so I'm suspecting the mouse simply left to another apartment on my floor.  :)  Kind of an anti-climatic ending, but that is life I guess!  I'll clean out the closet this weekend to make sure.

I would still set up a bukkit trap, as per Truean's suggestion. They work, very well, in fact. The mouse is probably avoiding you and roomie because it's learned your patterns.
