Shouldn't it be simple enough to mod a reaction to convert candy boulders into candy wafers? Does anybody ever use candy thread for anything but making wafers?

I use it in my hospital.

I assume you also plate the halls in gold and feed your dwarves platinum nuggets?

I love this idea. To take it a step further, have it set up so that wafers can then be turned into th reads. That makes more sense to me anyways.

This is an exceptional obsidian statue of Daral Darkscab.
The item is an exceptionally designed image of Daral Darkscab the dwarf and a slag bar (massive) in obsidian by Ksoth Lolorumril. Daral Darkscab is raising the slag bar (massive). The artwork relates to the masterful slag bar (massive) created by the dwarf Daral Darkscab for the Corridor of Matyrs at Monstergores in the late spring of 312.

I'm so glad my masons have chosen to memorialize the really important events.

Wells and magma forges won't ever work if you build them before there is liquid underneath.

I'm sure this is not true with respect to wells, and pretty sure it is not true with respect to magma-thingies.

Okay, after a few minutes of fiddling, here's the boulder -> wafer reaction:
Code: [Select]
[REACTION:SMELT_RAW_ADAMANTINE]
[NAME:smelt raw adamantine]
[BUILDING:SMELTER:NONE]
[REAGENT:A:1:STONE:NONE:INORGANIC:RAW_ADAMANTINE]
[PRODUCT:150:1:BAR:NONE:INORGANIC:ADAMANTINE][PRODUCT_DIMENSION:150]
        [FUEL]
[SKILL:SMELT]
And, yes, the game recognizes that the "bars" of Adamantine are indeed wafers with items requiring the usual 3x of them.
