Help with understanding physical attributes

Hey

So i've just registered to the DF forum, played for a while and am really enjoying the challenge, i have a question though i haven't been able to find an answer to in the dwarf fortress wiki, the physical attributes that are listed in each dwarf's thoughts and preferences, according to the wiki there's a whole lot of attributes, but when i look in the thought's and preferences screen there's rarely listed more than 1 or 2, a few times 3, mostly it's just how quick they are to heal, is there a reason i can only see a select number of attributes on the dwarves and not all of them? am i missing something?

Appologies if i didn't explain myself well enough, if it's not understandable i'll try to rephrase

I think if it doesn't show anything that they are just in the middle. If it does show something then they are either better then normal (green) or worse (red)

Search for Dwarf Therapist and look for Splinterz version (page 167, I think). It will show you everything you want. You should really play the game with DT if you're just starting - so much easier to manage.
