Sounds good, and I agree that looms and such shouldn't be powered. Limit it to 1400's, people, Toady said that's the cutoff. Somewhere. It's quoted a lot.
The ability to mod them in would be nice, though, especially if combined with the oft-suggested reaction to generate power.

Never used Dwarf Therapist, mods or tilesets in all the years I've been playing.
I think Toady's confusing interface better simulates the experience of a bunch of disorganised drunken dwarves running a fort.

Insteaf od magma cooking you could simply use wood, however not in the form of logs - 1 log for 1 cooking job would be insane, instead at a carpenter's workshop (people we really need a sawmill) single log could be transformed into many many firewood of which you would need very little for a single cooking job (same for distillery).
