Whats the most amount of Dwarves you've had in one fortress?

Hey
I was just curious on how many dwarves people were able to get before qutting from boredom/ Fun.
My personal best was i think 156.

200 is still manageable, after that the fps starts dropping sharply and the dwarfs start tantruming just because of the crowd

i set cap towards 150ish before fps drop

200ish, anymore and FPS not worth it (which in reality now would be about 75 adults and 125 children)

Once I get below 15 FPS, it becomes not as enjoyable.  Below 10 and it's time to just abandon and start over elsewhere.

Around 400 in one fort (including 100 children). Managment was no problem at all, the fort practically run itself. But FPS was between 15 and 25 when nothing happened and dropped to 5 when sieges or caravans arrived. With weather and temperature off.

230ish in a fortress with a popcap of 200. I managed to maintain a fairly decent FPS of between 20-30 for the majority of the time. This was in a 3x3 fortress with weather and temperature still on.
