modify world gen parameters?
« on: August 05, 2012, 09:22:16 pm »

ok guys this is my first post on here but i was wondering, is there a possible way to generate a world with a joyous wilds right next to a terrifying, i would like to be able to have a full compliment of foods and drinks in a single map but so far my searching has failed, also would there be a way to have this location have a volcano, river and ocean, i know its a big question but i think it would add to the game a bit if i had several different things going on all at once

Find the SAVAGERY tag, setting the last 2 numbers to 3200:3200 will give you a more patchwork world.

This should give you a better chance of seeing joyous wilds next to terrifying.

It's good you want a short history, because the shorter it is the more likely you are to have medium civs in a max savage world. Now you won't be able to have a fully max savage world, since civs can't live in savage areas, but you can make a mostly savage one. One note though, and that is that it's gonna take a lot of rejects to get a world that works.

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!

and a slight heads-up. Ifyour mineral scarcity is low, site finder won't show flux, and that includes manually scrolling through sites. Doesn't mean it isn't there, it just doesn't show

well there is a min/max savegery option. But it think if you put the min too high some civilisations won't spawn.

played around with it a bit and found a fairly decent world, i have sunberries, silver barbs, and whip vines all spawning naturally with glumprong and feather trees, goblin blood is the evil weather, and only complaint is the mineral scarcity
