Placing a refinery next to one of the ore mines might be even better. Then it will be able to supply itself with at least one of the ores.

Why would the YCM want to know our mission? Do we know whenever them and the CESD are enemies? No, we don't have that kind of information, for all intents and purposes we're stranded. Just state that you are a mining bot of the CESD expanding their already established operations in this area. Do not explain the acronym. Perhaps also send a request of information as to why the YCM is here and what they are doing?
