Okay, you have absolutely no excuse for this.

Is it really so hard to scroll down a tiny bit to check that there isn't already a thread?

No, there is no valid reason. It takes far less time to scroll down quickly and check the first page than it does to press "new topic", type in a few words and link to a KS page.

Sorry i just re-read your post, there is nothing rude in that, you were expressing your point of view in a civil manners. My frenchip got in the way again and i apologize. Their could be a reason behind but you are right, hard to find a GOOD reason to explain that. Let's this topic die and PM me if you want to continue this discussion :).
