APP_MOD_DESC_RANGE?
« on: August 02, 2012, 01:06:15 am »

What does APP_MOD_DESC_RANGE do and how does it work?

The entry in the Creature Token wiki page just links to a forum post that appears to actually be about BP_APPEARANCE_MODIFIER.

(Speaking of BP_APPEARANCE_MODIFIER, does this have any sort of default or base range?)

The DESC_RANGE changes at what range the description will show up as very short, short, not showing up, long, very long, extremely long etc.

If BP_APPEARANCE_MODIFIER goes up to 300, but the last number in APP_MOD_DESC_RANGE is at 500, "extreme" should never show up.

What, if anything, are the default values for these?

There doesn't really seem to be a "default", at least as far as I can tell.

The context of where and on what creature it is being used changes what Toady tends to use as the "default".
