Statues and water
« on: August 02, 2012, 03:30:28 pm »

Let's say I have a tunnel, with two fortifications flanking a statue. Will creatures still be able to be pushed through the fortifications by water pressure, or will the statue stop them?
X = fortifications
S = statues

Flowing water will push a creature through a statue (and pretty much anything else that permits the passage of water).

It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

With each additional tile thicker that you make the fortifications/statues it will reduce the chance of them being pushed all of the way through though. Also I believe the statue will stop things from swimming through after the water hits 7/7.

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!
