lever stationing

please make levers or lever rooms a part of squad stationing so that we can have complex traps without special barracking measures for lever pullers or having to put levers in the middle of meeting zones.

i think it would be a great fortress side addition for the new sneaking additions, what with goblin raids and what not.

i understand how notes work.
i'm talking about the time delay from dwarves take their sweet ass time to get to pulling a lever because of the job priority/assignment functions.

a military dwarf stationed near levers that would pull them as fast as possible would be awesome for large scale traps and stuff.

i hate having to build complicated timing mechanisms so that whole traps can be assigned back to one lever, and then finding that the trap fired to late and the gobbos walk through unscathed.

You could use mechanical logic to have the complicated timing mechanisms connected to an OR gate instead of a single lever. The basic example on the wiki is good for two levers -- any more than that and you'll have to start stacking the gears on top of each other.

How would you 'assign' military to levers in a way that's more simple than putting a burrow around the lever and temporarily assigning a bunch of dwarves to it? Or putting a burrow around the lever and using the civilian alerts to interrupt the whole fortress so somebody can take the lever job.

I am trying to make chickens lay bees as eggs. So far it only produces a single "Tame Small Creature" when a hen lays bees.
Honestly at the time, I didn't see what could go wrong with crowding 80 military Dwarves into a small room with a necromancer for the purpose of making bacon.
