In my newest embark, i decided to make my fortress a huge upside down pyramid.
Yeah.
I was thinking i might have more to tell you guys about.
I'll post updates on this if i remember to.
Im probably going to end up too lazy to update.
Anyway, if you guys have ideas/suggestions, i'll try to try some of them out.
Im a noob at the game, so im doing it with Cave-ins and Invaders off.
If i have Cave-ins on, this wont work.
I might turn invaders on once the fort can defend itself.
but yeah, thats my newest project for you.

Had a close call, like a genius, i ignored the fact that my mining designation went into the side of a murky pool, expecting the miners to automatically not dig through damp stone.

Flood the pyramid, and have your Dwarves live on an oasis island underground in the center.

(Or just drown all of them for funsies).

build it by carving the earth away from around it. then flood the massive hole partway with magma

I might flood it, i dont know yet.

mr_coolface, ive already started building it from walls above ground, so i dont think that would work.
But if you want to do it, go ahead.

UPDATE #1.
Instead of one big pyramid i've decided to do multiple, the one im using as a dormitory and meeting place is done. Going to make an emergency Pyramid connected to it with a bridge.Then i'll work on one to house all my workshops.
