Crashes "program have stop running"
« on: July 07, 2012, 04:35:45 am »

Errorfile
Code: [Select]
loop path fail: <same square> goblin,43,77,178 -> 43,116,207: Id #10932:Path Goal Seek Station:Station Mill Building at 43,117,207
loop path fail: <same square> troll,52,78,178 -> 38,75,178: Id #12370:Path Goal Seek Station:Station Owner at 68,86,182
loop path fail: <same square> troll,64,83,178 -> 46,121,207: Id #13845:Path Goal Seek Station:Station Owner at 67,75,178

I have a Goblin Civ with troll pets, everything worked fine last version I played (34.05) but now the game crashes after about 2h of playtime. I have 143 population now and that's kinda when the problem started.

So.. Do I have to kill everyone?

while I don't know if it will stop crashes, or if there is a better solution, YES! KILL KILL KILL EVERYONE!

ok, that was predictable, wasn't it?

Jam a door with its corpse and let all the goblins in. Hey, nobody said it had to be a weapon against your enemies.

It's highly likely that those "loop path fail" messages have absolutely nothing to do with your crashes - those messages show up all the time.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

Agreed. It's not uncommon to check the error log and see those messages on a regular basis. I have yet to ever have a crash due to them, so I think the problem is probably lying somewhere else.

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!
