Quick question about coffins.
« on: July 06, 2012, 02:07:23 pm »

After reclaiming a fortress with a rather large ex-population I found a sudden need for a rather large amount of coffins. My question is this: is there a way to select a group of coffins so I can make them "available for burial" and "not allow pets" all at once or, even better, is there a way to just set that as the default or do I have to keep manually selecting the option for each individual coffin? Thanks.

In the init file, you can set "not for pets" by default. It saves one keystroke :)
Path:
C:\NiceGames\df_34_11_win\data\init
and within d_init.txt

Change this to YES to disallow pets from coffin burial as the default option.

Killing dwarves is so much fun. Heck, even the dwarves agree, else they wouldn't kill themselves so often.

Best bet is to build them in rows, then record a macro to move the cursor over each one and turn on/off the various options.
