Affordable Space Suits!

Even though affordable space travel is a long way off, things like this flight suit are bringing it a little closer for normal people.  I'm really hoping this project makes it goal.  It's exciting for people like me who've dreamed about going into space since they were a small child.  So I thought I'd try to spread the word about it a little.

Is it really a wise idea to have the torso be black? I thought NASA needed to paint everything white to keep stuff from getting cooked by the sun.

I think you're not supposed to spend much, if any, time outside a ship in the suit - it's more of an emergency precaution.

Yes, it's for in-vehicle missions. You'll need something a bit brighter for EVAs.
