Yes, you got that right- the six basically means he recovered really quickly from the Ram. Conversely, if he'd rolled a 1 he'd have lost 2 Momentum (1 from spin out 1 from check.)

And ho crap what do I do now. I suppose Mr. Fish will Powerslide the Inside, hoping to grab an item, hold first place and maybe pick up some Momentum for a breakaway.


(People may want to note that we're entering Purple, which has 2 paths. Particularly, pssst, Spinal_Taper! Specify that you're going Outside- the guaranteed Momentum will keep you from falling back if the dice continue to hate you. It's what I would do, although if you've got a better plan feel free- last minute charges from the back of the pack have been effective lately in the main thread.)
