I frequently dump babies and children into the volcano, because they're a useless drain on resources.

I Have never Mass produced Steel, The highest grade metal I have given an entire Squad is iron.

In my current fort even my Elite squads are in copper armour however this might have to changs as I just saw my "Elite" squad get Fkd in the A.

Also I have never used Magma forges, I prefer Burning Coal.

Why you be hating on the enviroment? What fun is there in polluting the world slowly? Magma is ALWAYS THE BETTER OPTION. ALWAYS!!!

I always remove ramps all around the entrance to my fort.  Not really sure why, but I always do.
Me too.
Although I have a clear reason for doing so: it allows me to control where the invaders will be coming from, and prepare accordingly.

Certainly you could argue that DF is a lot like The Sims, only... you know... with more vomit and decapitation.
If you launch a wooden mine cart towards the ocean at a sufficient speed, you can have your entire dwarf sail away in an ark.

I failed to finish a year of a succession game because my computer and my sanity couldn't handle it.

I've never once killed a migrant. They mill around the dining room, absorbing my provender and gradually turning into Legendary Conversationalists without ever learning a trade or even hauling all that much. These guys tend to make up more than 60% of my population.
