Has fort season arrived?

Hmm, the dev log makes me think we have hit another plateau of version stability. Is it time for a massive, months long fort project?

~ Fortress Season is now declared open ~

Sounds good to me.  Just started a new fort on the shoulder of a nice couple of waterfalls.  The human diplomat managed to get himself swept over the edge of one, Armok knows how, but otherwise things are going smoothly and I'm planning to settle in for a cosy, long fort.  Am going to breed cavys and try to find some military use for them.

I'm cool with it. Dwarf Fortress just comes with bugs. No biggie if they're not all fixed.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

"It's Dwarf season!"

"It's Wambler season!"

"Dwarf season!"

"Wambler season!"

"Wambler season!"

"Dwarf season!"

Fluffy wamblers aren't rabbits, though. They're humanoid.

I just started a new Finnish Fort, although I chose this time only because there had been several bugfixes since the last great additions. Turns out this was the best possible time for it, as the save wont go obsolete in quite a while.

All that means is "resembles a human"

bugs bunny was "humanoid"

Other then DFHack not being updated yet for 34.11 (so no Stonesense, or Overseer, or finding out what rocks/metals you have), I've been pretty happy with 34.11.

Dwarf Therapist works and that's the major out-of-game tool that I depend on for the larger forts.

Im making a nice little fort near a road, fighting off kobolds and goblins. Hoping to trade and have healthy relations with humans and elves. Screw dwarves.

And the first time in MONTHS I have played as dwarves.
