Problems with worldgen
« on: June 24, 2012, 10:12:08 pm »

I want my world to have minimum and maximum 100 savagery, yet when I attempt to gen it it says it can't be done. Is there something I'm missing?

I like playing with savagery too.

Did you change the minimum number of savagery low and mid tiles?
Should be near the bottom. You probably wabt to set low and mid savagery squares to 0.
Thats always my problem.

If you are trying to generate a 100% savage world, note that the default civilizations can't be placed in savage regions, so you'll have to alter that as well.

Certain civilizations need a certain savagery to be able to make it through world generation.  Making the minimum 100 probably isn't allowing any civilizations to e established.

Quote from: From the wiki
The largest chance of having unusable maps comes from too high of a savagery value.

Instead of raising the minimum, I suggest you apply weighted ranges for savagery and just make high ranges more common than low ones.
