(This is my first forum game attempt, so it might be a bit slow at first)
The human empire was once massive, spanning across the galaxy, the first explorers had discovered far away places some with life, but none intelligent, and some with the capabilities to support life, but for some time the distance was too much, these were the first sphere colonies. Then the warp gates were made, how they were made we do not know, the technology of the time seemed inadequate, but many warp gates were built across the galaxy, connecting the far reaching planets, and uniting us under one banner, and these were the second sphere colonies. And then came the warp drives, mighty engines capable of transporting ships as fast as a warp gate, they were not as reliable but they opened up new paths that we could exploit, these were the third sphere colonies. and another age of expansion fell upon humanity, the warp drives were not as reliable however, and soon mutations fell upon odd ships, and mutants roamed the galaxy alongside rebels and space pirates. Then the mutants and rebels united and drove us into massive civil war, but we triumphed, and drove them from our empire into the Colgur stars, and so we stood, incredible, invincible unconquerable.
And then they came, the first sign we had was this transmission. “We are the Korchar, we once owned this empire in ages past, but it was destroyed by the great plague. However this land is still ours and you are trespassers, we had settled these lands before your kind had even discovered fire. You will all pay for desecrating our tombs and stealing our lands. You cannot stand, pray to your gods for mercy, for you shall be receiving none from us. Surrender and Die.” At first the high lords took no notice, it was seen as some childish attempt to scare us, after all, we had survived the great mutant war, nothing could defeat us. Then, two weeks later, we lost contact with the outer stars, a small fleet was dispatched to find out what had happened, two days later one ship came back, wrecked, and barley space worthy, transmitting this message, “You cannot win, we have legions innumerable, we can destroy entire planets, and you are trespassers, we claim dominion over this galaxy and dare you to challenge it, we are one, we are mighty, you cannot win. Surrender and Die.” The Korchar gave us one day for this to sink in before they attacked, it was horrific, each ship of theirs was capable of warp jumping further than our gates could, they had firepower the imperial navy could not match, armour and shields that we could not penetrate and that could withstand the nebulae. And they crushed us.
We looked to the fortress world of Amirol for defence, it was a world which was said could not be taken short of destroying the planet, the Korchar destroyed the planet, it cracked open, and all the defenders died without the chance to even shoot back. With the fall of the fortress world the Imperial lords decided that the cause was lost, how could you fight something that could destroy entire planets, so they built a mother ship. It had warp engines and armour copied from some captured Korchar scouts, and they made it huge, but before they could test it the Korchar attacked earth, the entire Imperial navy stood in the way, and they were massacred, for every imperial ship destroyed three Korchar ships went down, but they outnumbered 12 to 1, and the Korchar overwhelmed them, most of the imperial leaders where killed, and now, when barley one hundredth of the people we said were to get on where on board the ship prepared to leave.
To join you must fill in a the character sheet and write down a dramatic way you got on board the mother ship from the boarding ship, I’ll accept the five best written stories, note that it doesn’t have to be long, it just has to be interesting. Oh, and put a brief description of your character down, and please, remember that you are all human, you may be insane humans and you may be cyborg humans but you are all still humans, OK?
And turn order, each turn will be six months long and you can do whatever the hell you want in a turn, so long as it’s not too crazy.
Oh crap forgot to put this in, basically you are a survover of a massive alien invasion that destroyed planets, you are on a mothership and while at first you arealone, what i want to happen is you can make factions onboard the mothership, make colonies, take over parts of the mothership, that kind of thing basically forge an empire from this mothership

Persuasion: makes it easier to make people do what you want
Intimidation: force people to do what you want, easier than persuasion but makes people dislike you and lowers your prestige
Prestige: makes people respect you more and increases your persuasion
Wealth: how much money you have
Properties: what businesses you own
History: how you got on this ship and what happened in your life
To start you will have 10 points to spend on strength, persuasion, intimidation and prestige and you will have 30 wealth to spend on personnel items
