Look for a pub near a deserted alley. Then look for a British officer, and offer to buy the man a drink while commiserating over having to listen to these local blighters and their dreadful Scottish accents. Can't hardly understand a word they're saying half the time.

After the drink, mention that we know a better place nearby. Take him to the alley and kill him. Take his uniform.

You walk into the nearby pub " The cock and pony" It is teeming with men, including a number of British military personnel. Perfect. You walk up to a young officer, who seems nervous. You put on a British accent. After 5£ worth of drinks, you convince him to leave with you.
Stab.
Well, his Officer Disguise, 60 £ and Webbley-Scott revolver are now yours. You dump the corpse in a rubbish bin.
What now?

Head out of town. Look for tanks taking tests. They might need help with those tests.
