Pet adoption

I have a large number of animals up for adoption, many of them just wandering between my meeting areas. But none have been adopted, although they are available.

It takes time before dwarves decide to adopt (or be adopted by) an animal.

If a dwarf likes an animal, they usually adopt four or five of that animal.
