Converting to a new version?

Is it possible to convert a save to a new version of the game?

Yes. Just copy the save file to your new game folder and if you have the init.txt changed at your other version, replace the new one with that.

unless specifically mentioned, savegames are compatible and any changes are mentioned in a text file (changelog?) in the df folder, so you know which save raws to change
