Generals migrating?
« on: May 29, 2012, 02:19:15 pm »

Is there any chance that the general of my civ will migrate to my fort? Wiki doesn't seem to help in this regard.

Never seen it happen (since 40d anyway).
A waring factions general(s) can show up to invade you though. As a side note, in goblin civilisations, the general is responsable for tranning the war animals, so if he invades and you kill them, the goblins will ceace to bring war animals/mounts. Not sure if this also applys for humans, or weather their leaders will invade you or not.

With the (near) juxtaposition of the thread asking "General dining room necessary?", then you might think it were possible... ;)

This is also true if the general flees the map; apparently the only way to get recurring mounts is to capture the general alive and keep him in your fort, although I haven't tested it myself.
