Starting with a legendary grower?

I recently abandoned a fort and started a new one and my farmer had legendary grower and accomplished in a few other skills is this a bug and im lucky or what?

A migrant? It happens more than you'd think. You're just lucky it wasn't a shearer or a potash maker.

The biggest issue seems to be size.  A 1x1 room would allow for maximum child desecration (waiting on someone to sig that)

Edit : Im using the masterwork mod

With Masterwork, some are born into classes, or castes. Dwarfs in the fighter caste start with proficient in every weapon skill. If you look at his/her page with all his likes and all that stuff, down at the bottom, where it says "a short sturdy blah blah blah" it will have a little extra at the end. That should tell you what they're good at. But, not all dwarfs have a caste.
