Perfect coincidences

The fact that these two events happened pretty much right next to each other was just perfect.
Any other amazing coincidences that happen in your announcement logs?

Unleashing hell on surface world to guard against invasions (annoying setup to avoid all my dwarves dying), nothing alive on surface to convince them to come up there.
"Migrants have arrived"
....Excellent.

That should be a new type of project, making a rug design in dwarf fortress (With accurate coloring)

I'm reminded of a moment in the succession fortress Gemclod, right before the end. The last warrior was just killed in an epic standoff with a Forgotten Beast, and this conversation occurs between the last remaining dwarfs.
MortuusLupus and FebrezeNinja sat at their desks in their office. Little Magil Zeal sat quietly nearby on the floor.

Something large, noisy, and powerful was trying to break down the office door.

"Did you expect Gemclod to come to an end?" FebrezeNinja asked.

"I don't know. I never really gave it much thought." MortuusLupus replied.

"You want to know what I always thought?

"What did you always think?"

"Somehow, I always believed that the fortress would endure. Like just when everything seems darkest, something miraculous would happen."

"If something miraculous did happen, it would probably just happen so it could give us false hope."

"False hope?

"You know. Your hopes get raised for a brief moment, just to have yet another disaster shoot your fresh hopes all to pieces."

I wonder if the game has become odd.

The goblins infiltrated Eventool perfectly, passing through the trade gate, slipping through the unfinished wall of the attached barn and only being revealed when they decided to attack on of my swarm of alligator hatchlings who were pastured in the barn.

Then this happened:

An Ambush! Curse them!
An animal has grown to become a Stray Alligator <Tame> x21

They never stood a chance vs the luggage swarm.

Not an announcement, but still coincidental enough to be interesting:

It was a dwarf child who went berserk and had to be calmed down with military action.
