Hey all, after downloading and installing 34.09 I started a new fort to try things out.  Today I noticed that 34.10 came out so I downloaded and updated and continued playing my fort.  A season or two after the first dwarven caravan left, I get my first post-caravan migrant wave (as normal).  The abnormal thing about this is that this migration wave was a whopping 51 (!) dwarves.  I've been playing this game for a while but I've never seen one this big, and I only exported about ~1.5k of stuff at this first caravan.  Just wondering if this is expected behavior or some sort of weird bug with the new version.

Woah! That is big. I remember back in 31.25 they only went up to the mid twenties.

Yeah lol that's about what I'm used to.  I'm not sure if this fort is going to survive this large of a migration wave.

I recently got a 40 dwarf wave, so you're not alone.  Although 51 seems really high.

i started getting unusually high migrant waves in the necromancer update (the version that made all saves became corrupted cause of the newer version), im not sure how many dwarfs i got but it seemed unusually high for a evil biome fortress.

Yeah, I've had waves of 40+ before. I think I had like 32 or something in my most recent fort. I wonder what the upper limit is?

Two 60 dwarf waves in a row. Not really surprised anymore, just bloody annoyed, I bang my head against my wooden desk, wondering what kind of wood it is and how long is it going to last if I keep also hitting it with my fists.

I regularly get groups of 30-60. The highest wave ever being 69.

Be glad it doesn't menace with spikes.

Also, if the migrant overload is predictable and reliable, it's time to make some megaprojects!
