Demon King?

Alright, I've been playing for a while, my first fort was lost because I messed up something with updating, and now I am running a new fort with great success. I was looking at the other civs in the civilizations menu, and the aptly named human civ "Weak Kingdom" caught my eye. When I got to the screen with the most important figures, there was only one entry. "Thudu - Master". Now, I'm no expert on this, but having just one name usually means that it's nothing very... Human. The job title is also somehow very evil-sounding. Is it likely that he/she/it is a demon? If so, how does it affect the civ? Do they get pissed off more easily, or do they have stuff like undead armies? Lastly, how hard is it to kill that kind of a creature? I'm thinking that when I start adventuring, I'm going to constantly aim for slaying the wicked king, even if it takes me two centuries or so. Oh, and do you have stories about similar advetures you'd like to share?

Demons take over human civs by posing as gods. This does not affect the civ in any kind, instead the demon starts behaving as legitimate human law-giver. Difficulty of killing a demon is highly random, because they are generated randomly like FB's.

A goblin civilization's Iguana Demon lawgiver once came in person to lead a siege against my fort. She was [TRAPAVOID], but that only meant losing all her escorting soldiers and their mounts to trapspam before meeting 3 squads of danger-roomed steel-clad military dwarves further inside the fortress. She didn't even get a hit in.

Of course, that was a flesh and blood demon with only a poisonous stinger, you can have metal ones with firebreath if the RNG decides so.

 :D Probably gonna arm meself with a shield then. How about the name? I've never seen a human with only one name, so is it a certain sign of a demon?

Check the legends for that one. If it says it escaped on year 1 then he is a demon.
