Masterwork - Red Dragons!
« on: May 19, 2012, 05:42:14 am »

So I've got a have 'Gaza Falaricaaugeo Igniculusfortuna Crinis' a Red Dragon, walled up in a room in my fortress. ( Unfortunately, it was my hospital. Nobody was in there, but he's taken all my thread hostage :/ ) Just wondering how long, if ever, it will take for him to die of starvation or something similar? His description doesnt show any injuries, but it says all of his upper-body fat is gone.

So apparently, this one dwarf is just walking around with a huge, gaping hole in his chest, with a slightly smashed heart, and bleeding absolutely everywhere, and he is PUNCHING OUT ZOMBIES.

So I will forever have a red dragon in my fortress? Well, at least until I can train my military to deal with him. Or have some !FUN! and try flooding that room.

You could build a tonne of cage traps outside the room and then sacrifice some poor dwarf luring it into them.

Just keep it in there until you can deal with it later. Hospitals are generally for their part, easily replaceable and dynamic.

Can't you trap him?I assume he is trapavoid so you might need to stun him or somesuch.Make a 2 levels drawbridge drop into a trap and let him come out? Sorry, I haven't played Masterwork yet as I dread the work it involves to combine it with my own mods :P

Don't try to tame it if it has dwarf kills listed in its history. Unless that bug has been fixed?

I've tamed (well, trained ) my share of dragons and didn't have any problems with that after the taming changes. Maybe I was lucky though.

I was expecting a psycopathic murderer, asking a captured goblin if they could see.
