Display getting choppy
« on: May 13, 2012, 04:29:58 pm »

After I load up, my DF screen gets more and more choppy as the game goes on. After about an hour, I can barely make out the words in the different menus. But the game runs fine other than that.

Thanks for answering all of my other questions, you guys have been a huge help.

Hmmm... Sounds interesting. What graphics display mode are you using? (should be in init.txt IIRC, e.g. STANDARD, PARTIAL:X, etc.)

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!

Try pressing f12 while ingame, mate. Should that not work, reply with a list of active mods and tilesets.

I made a mod where giant spiders, snake-people, minotaurs, dwarves, and a gnome-like creature were all the same species.  In spite of being radically different sizes, a snake-person and a spider could get married and have a minotaur as a child.
A wonderful love story of a family that is truly without prejudice.

It does that with TrueType font on. Pressing F12 in-game toggles TTF.
