Planeskippers is rather tiring, like I suspected : I don't know exactly why, but it just is. D:

I'm being lazy and not updating it for two days now...

It's a few things. Primarily the map system. Maps are a pain to deal with on a grid system like this without a program to aid you. It's even worse when you need to deal with coordinates and no proper system with which you scale. Having to memorize everything, even with the key available, having to sort through up to 11 actions, and having long debates over systems that aren't clearly defined can't be helping with how tiring it is. Not to mention how different this is from your other games, it can't be easy to switch between styles so frequently.
I'd give it some time. This is a new kind of thing you're trying out, and you shouldn't expect to find it very easy at all. Once you get comfortable with writing things like this, it shouldn't feel nearly as tiring.
