i was sent to kill some peasant in a lair, i thought it was easy, so i go to the lair, nd the threatening begins.
i didn't even get a chance to hit her?
she kept punching, kicking and she had no weapons, i think no armor as well...

The peasant was probably a werebeast or vampire. People don't usually give quests to slay weaklings.

Yes she was a werebeast they never wear or use any items and as a result are only dangerous on full moons.  They are also very common.

I think McDonalds would beg to differ :P

But they're not jsut very common, they're 80% of everything that can be a quest target it would seem.
